Military Spouse Life

The Circle of Life

I haven’t posted much because I got a call to go to CT to say goodbye to my grandfather. It was an emotional weekend, but I have to remind myself of the following. My grandfather was told he had 6 months to live when he got back from the Korean War. I should never have met him, let alone been able to introduce him to our daughter.

Talia loved him right away.

She was a wiggle worm for my grandmother!

At one point we had my grandmother, mother, Talia, and myself in the room, but I was so worried about pictures with her great grandparents, I didn’t have Bill get that photo. Next time.

I’m now at my dad’s in PA. We are spending the week here and helping him after he got in an accident and broke his arm and shoulder last week. I’m getting some writing done, but not a lot.
